TRIALS 2026

Dear Members and Families,

 

The countdown is on and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the field! Team trials for the upcoming season are just around the corner, and we encourage all players to register now and turn up ready to play, have fun, and be part of another fantastic Connells Point Rovers season. Registering early ensures you receive all club communications, trial updates, and team announcements — and it helps us organise teams, coaches, and sessions smoothly. All trials will be held on the MIDI Field at Poulton Park.

Key Information:

  • Selection is based on individual ability – not friendship groups.

  • Playing in an Advanced team in 2025 does not guarantee selection for 2026.​

TEAM TRIAL SCHEDULE

​

Tuesday 3 February

  • 5:00pm – Under 14 Male

  • A Grade team finalised, other Grade teams to be selected

​

  • 6:00pm – Under 15 Male

  • All teams to be selected

​

Wednesday 4 February

  • 5:00pm – Under 16 Male

  • All teams to be selected

​

  • 6:00pm – Under 18 Male

  • All teams to be selected

​

Tuesday 10 February

  • 4:45pm – Under 8 Mixed & Female

  • Advanced team has been finalised - teams for other divisions to be organised.

​

  • 5:30pm – Under 9 Mixed & Female

  • Advanced team has been finalised - teams for other divisions to be organised.

​

  • 6:15pm – Under 10 Mixed & Female

  • Limited places remain in the advanced team, with teams for other divisions to be organised.

 

Wednesday 11 February

  • 4:45pm – Under 11 Mixed & Female

  • Limited places remain in the advanced team, with teams for other divisions to be organised.

 

  • 5:30pm – Under 12 Male

  • A Grade team finalised, other Grade teams to be selected.

 

  • 6:15pm – Under 13 Male

  • A Grade team finalised, other Grade teams to be selected.

 

Tuesday 24 February

  • 4:45pm – Under 5 Mixed & Female

  • Teams organised around friendship groups

  • 5:30pm – Under 6 Mixed & Female

  • Teams organised around friendship groups

​

  • 6:15pm – Under 7 Mixed & Female

  • Teams organised around friendship groups

​

We’re looking forward to seeing plenty of smiling faces, great energy, and lots of Rovers spirit back at Poulton Park. Let’s make this season another memorable one,  see you at trials!
